I got my start in real estate in 1996 working as an assistant in Potomac, Maryland at a Coldwell Banker in the high end real estate market. Eventually, I secured a position working under one of the top 10 agents in the country in Bethesda, MD. In 2011, I moved to Boston with my wife to be closer to family. I have found this area in particular to be open and welcoming. I am especially fond of the area I work within because of its easy access to the city, excellent school systems, and sense of community within each town. These traits have a newfound importance to me due to the birth of my first daughter in May 2013. I have brought my extensive experience in real estate to Massachusetts and currently serve the communities of Melrose, Lynnfield, Reading, Stoneham, Wakefield, Woburn, Saugus, Winchester, Arlington, Cambridge, Somerville, Watertown, Lexington, and Newton.
While working in MD/DC, I developed a love for the various aspects of real estate. Firstly, being in real estate means that an agent has the privilege of seeing many different kinds of homes. The various architecture throughout New England is amazing and I love being able to tour the local Victorian homes and appreciate the history of this area. It is often the unique details to a home if accented properly that help it to quickly sell. Secondly, an integral part to being a successful agent is meeting new people. I love making connections and getting to know my new clients. Finally, and probably my favorite thing, is helping my clients sell their home and move on to a new home. There is truly nothing better than the excitement of a client when they finally find the home they have been looking for.
As a Realtor, I have several unique skills that contribute to my overall effectiveness. To begin, I have been involved in over 500 transactions, thus greatly sharpening my knowledge of how to avoid common pitfalls in both buying and selling a home. Additionally, I have a degree in Finance, allowing me to calculate pricing trends and judge whether a home is correctly priced based on factors such as location, square footage, etc. Being a technophile, I greatly enjoy using computers and new technology. In the past, it was an agent’s sales skills that sold a home for the best price. Today such skills are necessary, but the arena has changed; it is now not only the agent’s network that will sell homes for top dollar, but the agent’s ability to present a home’s unique characteristics in the best light possible. The agent must also be able to bring these features to as many people as possible. Using my computer skills, including mobile devices, social networking and RE/MAX’s global website, it is now possible to reach people from all over the world. Finally, I own a real estate marketing company, Bella Casa Marketing LLC. Bella Casa provides beautiful photography, brochures, websites, and virtual tours for real estate professionals looking to place their listing to the forefront of the industry. The final and most important reason you should consider using me as your agent is simple. I care about my clients and always put their needs first. Yes, that means I actually answer the phone when you call. I don’t tell you what you want to hear, I tell you the truth. I shoot for 100% satisfaction and that is accomplished by providing a full service experience with meticulous and compassionate attention to detail. My team handles everything from Listings to Sales and way beyond. If you are thinking of putting on an addition and want the honest opinion of how to get the most bang for your buck just ask. I am here for you, anytime for anything. I can recommend contractors that will get the job done right. Not leave you with a shell of a bathroom and say they have another job and will be back in a week or that they are 50% over budget sorry. My list of qualified vendors are changing because they get removed based on my clients recommendations. If you tell me the contractor didn’t treat you well, then off the list they go. Simple as that. I expect others to work as hard as I do.
